The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead our Finance Business Partnering team and provide strategic financial support across our schools. This is a key leadership role, working closely with school leaders and the Finance Director to ensure robust financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership and operational support across CLT schools. Lead and manage the Finance Business Partnering team. Support schools with budget setting, monitoring, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Trust-wide financial policies and procedures. Oversee onboarding of new schools and ensure consistent financial processes. Support month-end procedures, statutory returns, and year-end audits. Lead systems projects (e.g., Iplicit, BPS, Edupay) and provide training and technical support. Promote best practice and continuous improvement in financial operations. What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in financial leadership, preferably within education or the public sector. Strong understanding of financial compliance, reporting, and systems administration. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience managing and developing teams. A proactive, solutions-focused approach to financial management.
