About this role
We are looking to appoint a Lead Teaching Assistant, to work in the Primary and Secondary Department(mainly Primary at present). If successful you will lead a team of Teaching Assistants who are key in supporting both the learning and pastoral needs of our pupils, by deploying a range of coaching strategies and interventions at individual, group and whole class level.
The successful candidate will:
Directly line manage a team of Teaching Assistants, including performance managementArrange daily cover for all lessons, clubs and tuitionComplete duty timetablesBe responsible for the direction of Teaching assistantsEstablish good working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectationsPromote inclusion and acceptance of allOrganise agency staffAttend Leadership meetings
