Being a science teacher is unique because it’s one of the few subjects where you regularly get to pivot from abstract theory to explosive, hands-on reality. You aren't just teaching a syllabus; you are teaching a way of looking at the universe
Whether your passion lies in the intricacies of Biology, the reactions of Chemistry, or the laws of Physics, we want your expertise to help our students uncover how the world works.
Key responsibilities include:
Inspiring Pupils:Establish a safe, stimulating, and mutually respectful environment that stretches and challenges students of all backgrounds.Driving Progress:Take accountability for pupils’ attainment and plan lessons built on their prior knowledge and capabilities.Delivering Quality Lessons:Plan and teach well-structured lessons that maximize lesson time and incorporate constructive homework.Adapting to All Learners:Know how to differentiate appropriately to support pupils with special educational needs, high ability, disabilities, or English as an additional language.Effective Assessment:Use formative and summative data to monitor progress, give regular feedback, and guide pupils' next steps.Classroom Management:Maintain clear rules, routines, and high expectations for behaviour using fair praise, rewards, and sanctions.What We Are Looking For

You will need:
