About the Role
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive experience of pupils during lunchtime.You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and well-organised part of the school day.As a key role model, you will help create a calm and respectful environment where all children feel supported, included, and valued. Key Responsibilities
We Are Looking For Someone who can:
Supervise pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas to ensure their safety and wellbeingSupport the smooth running of lunchtime routines, including managing queues and seating arrangementsPromote positive behaviour and encourage respectful interactions between pupilsHelp maintain a clean and safe dining environment, including clearing spills and tidying tablesSupport children in developing independence and good social skills during lunchtimeRespond to minor first aid needs and report any concerns to the appropriate staffSupervise children indoors during wet weather as requiredFollow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all timesWork flexibly as part of the wider school team Someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to their wellbeingA positive and approachable individual who can build strong relationships with pupilsA reliable and flexible team member who is willing to get involvedSomeone who can promote and maintain good behaviour in a calm and consistent wayAn individual with good communication and organisational skillsSomeone with an awareness of health and safety and safeguarding in a school settingA proactive and professional role model who demonstrates enthusiasm and integrity We Can Offer You:
