Working under the guidance of our Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do:
Security & Safety: Assist with locking/unlocking the premises, conduct security patrols, and train as an emergency Fire Marshall. Maintenance & Grounds: Carry out minor repairs (carpentry, doors, windows), maintain school grounds, and tackle seasonal tasks like winter snow clearing. Operations & Logistics: Support the setup of rooms for school events and external lettings, assist with deliveries, and safely move furniture. Compliance & Hygiene: Monitor cleaning standards, restock supplies, and maintain essential health and safety logs. Why Apply?
Earn While You Learn: Receive a competitive salary of £17,940 per year (£11.50/hr)—significantly above the standard National Minimum Wage for apprentices. Professional Qualification: Gain a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative qualification with specialist training delivered by GLP Training.
