St Francis Catholic Primary School is seeking a committed and compassionate teacher to support the running of our Resource Provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a small group of pupils with additional needs, delivering tailored provision that enables them to thrive both academically and socially within a supportive and nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo, leadership team, and support staff to plan and deliver high-quality, personalised learning programmes that meet individual needs and promote inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated learning for pupils within the Resource ProvisionSupport pupils with a range of SEND, including communication and interaction needsWork collaboratively with teaching assistants to ensure effective support and engagementContribute to EHCP reviews, target setting, and progress monitoringLiaise with parents, external agencies, and professionals as appropriatePromote positive behaviour strategies and a consistent, nurturing approachAbout You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a qualified teacher with experience or a strong interest in SENDHas a patient, flexible and nurturing approach to teachingDemonstrates strong communication and teamwork skillsIs committed to inclusive education and achieving the best outcomes for all pupilsHas experience of, or willingness to learn about, supporting pupils with complex needs
