About this role
Be a qualified SENCO with expert knowledge of SEND legislation and the Code of Practice.Provide strategic and operational leadership for SEND and inclusion across the school.Work directly with pupils, including those with complex needs within our SEND provision.Lead and manage a team of Learning Support Assistants, overseeing effective deployment and training.Model and promote outstanding inclusive teaching practice for all staff.Manage SEND assessments, EHCP processes, and partnerships with external agencies (including SEND Ops).Lead and develop our Thrive programme (willingness to undertake Thrive Practitioner training is essential).Contribute actively to school improvement, safeguarding, and the Senior Management Team.Demonstrate a collaborative, resilient leadership style with high aspirations for both pupils and themselves.
