Contract type: Maternity cover (This is a fixed-term maternity cover post, expected to run from 1st September 2026 to July 2027. The contract will end when the substantive postholder returns from maternity leave, which may be earlier or later than the anticipated end date)
Hours: Full time

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our team at Fairfield Infant School. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative staff team and make a positive impact on children at the start of their school journey.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of teaching and learning. They will create a stimulating, nurturing environment where children feel safe, motivated and supported to develop independence, curiosity and a love of learning.
We are looking for someone who has high expectations for all children, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching, effective assessment and positive outcomes for every child.
