Finance Assistant - The Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust
Salary Range: Grade 13 SCP 6 to 11 £25,988- £28,142
Hours: 37 hours per week, All Year Round, Permanent
Hybrid working pattern with minimum 2 days in the office (St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Bridgwater, TA6 3EE)

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑focused Finance Assistant who takes pride in their work and plays a vital role in supporting the Trust’s day‑to‑day financial operations. You will join a supportive, collaborative and values‑driven team, working across our schools and central services.
We are looking for someone who:
Supports the smooth running of financial processes, including invoices, payments and reconciliations, with accuracy and careKeeps financial records up to date and organised, using strong ICT skills and attention to detailResponds promptly to queries, supporting colleagues, schools and suppliers in a professional and approachable wayWorks collaboratively within the finance team and across the Trust, building positive working relationshipsSupports key finance tasks such as reporting, audits and maintaining accurate recordsTakes a proactive, “can do” approach, helping to improve processes and support wider Trust prioritiesAt DCET, you will find:
