We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our team, combining excellent classroom practice with leadership responsibilities for a specific phase of the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about improving outcomes for all pupils and contributing to whole-school development.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning
Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the Teachers’ Standards and School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions DocumentPlan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons and sequences of learningSet high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge studentsMonitor, assess, record and report on student progress and achievementProvide timely and effective feedback in line with school policyPromote high standards of literacy and numeracy across the curriculumEffectively manage behaviour to ensure a positive learning environmentMaintain accurate records, including attendancePhase Leadership
Provide leadership and management for a designated phase across the schoolImplement and secure high-quality teaching and learning in line with the school improvement planMonitor and evaluate standards of teaching, learning and student progress across the phaseEnsure high-quality and consistent assessment practicesLead curriculum delivery to ensure it is progressive, challenging and inclusiveOrganise and oversee phase-specific events and opportunities for enrichmentLeading and Managing Staff
