Key Responsibilities:
Strategic leadership of Inclusion across the schoolLeading provision for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupilsand vulnerable groupsEnsuring high-quality inclusive practice across all classrooms to improve outcomes for these groups.Monitoring progress, provision and outcomes for pupils with additional needsWorking collaboratively with families, external agencies and professionalsLeading staff development to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice and impactful interventionsContributing to whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team
We are looking for someone who:
Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination or the National Professional Qualification for SENDCOIs a SENDCO in your current school or setting with a minimum of5 years successful Primary teaching experience ideally across more than one Key Stage.Is committed to high standards, equity and inclusion for every childIs an excellent classroom practitioner with strong leadership experienceHas strong communication and partnership skills with parents and external agenciesCan inspire, support and challenge staff to improve outcomes for all pupils
