We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Lincoln Carlton Academy. You will support pupils with a range of needs, working both one-to-one and with small groups, to promote learning, development, and independence.
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and support the delivery of engaging classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning activities, including preparation of resources and classroom organisationWork with individual pupils and small groups, including those with special educational needsPromote pupils’ academic, social, and emotional developmentMonitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teachers as requiredAssist with the delivery of literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum initiativesSupport behaviour management in line with school policiesHelp maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environmentProvide basic first aid and support personal care needs where requiredAssist with movement around the school and supervision of pupils
