About this role
The Governors of Rudyard Kipling Primary School and Nursery wish to appoint a dedicated, highly motivated and nurturing LSA on a permanent basis. This post will be to support our children accessing alternative provision within our school who require individualised, creative and purposeful provision.
We are looking for a special person who is:
An interest and passion for supporting children with additional needsA calm, caring and resilient characterKeen to develop their practice through training and professional developmentTo work closely with class teacher to support the learning of children working at or pre-key stageTo be reflective and flexibleTo dynamically risk assess and manage children’s safetyTo follow our Empowerment Approach and school values to enhance the children’s learningTo have an understanding of strategies which support SEND learners, such as Just Right, Makaton, Visuals, structure and routineTo establish positive relationships with parents and families
