About The Role
This part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis to cover a secondment until August 2027. Salary will be £30,628 per annum pro rata on Grade D subject to knowledge, skills and experience. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home. Key Responsibilities
Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for senior leaders, ensuring priorities are managed effectively Supporting departmental projects and digital initiatives, including new systems and process improvements Coordinating departmental communications including newsletters, website and intranet updates, and social media content Supporting compliance activities such as mandatory training monitoring, risk registers, and business continuity processes Providing administrative support for committees and governance meetings, including agendas, minute-taking, and action tracking Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders and helping resolve issues efficiently Organising departmental events, workshops, seminars, and visitor arrangements Maintaining accurate records, processing data, and producing reports using university systems and software Supporting financial administration including purchase orders, expenses, and ordering goods and services

Proven administrative or PA experience in a busy, people-focused environment Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively Confidence using digital systems and handling financial processes A collaborative, approachable, and flexible team player who enjoys supporting others
