Bromley by Bow Health comprises around 200 staff and brings together a wide range of health professionals, including GPs, nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, and administrative colleagues. We provide healthcare services to over 50,000 patients across four surgeries in Tower Hamlets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Practice autonomously in accordance with clinical competencies and agreed frameworks.
Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients appropriately.
Deliver evidence-based and culturally relevant care.
Provide:
Sexual health services Cervical cytology Immunisations Chronic disease management Wound care Health promotion services Lead on home nursing services and integrated care.
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
Support patients with healthy lifestyle advice and disease prevention.
Ensure effective use of information technology in clinical practice.

Management and Administration
Human Resources
Line manage the nursing team and support workforce planning.

Maintain stock levels and oversee procurement of equipment.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse Post registration diploma or degree in general practice nursing or equivalent. Teaching and assessing (ENB 998 or equivalent, SSSA). Nursing qualification and or experience in more than two areas of chronic disease/long term conditions Trained in immunisation, basic life support and management of anaphylaxis, wound care, travel health, cervical cytology, sexual health, ear care, safeguarding, infection control, information governance. Trained in personalised care and support planning

Experience Essential
