Our team are recruiting for a full time (37.5 hours) Recovery Worker to join their team in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £26,250 per annum. The salary for this role is on an incremental scale and will rise each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,900 per annum. Main duties of the job
As a Recovery Worker you will be providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will be working within a highly skilled and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your development and your ability to deliver the best care you can to our clients.
Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. Youll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be compassionate, proactive and confident in partnership working, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing substance misuse and mental health difficulties.
We are looking for a Recovery Worker, working 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.

Experience Essential
We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will also be organised with excellent time management skills. To be successful in this role you will: Building effective links with PCNs, CMHTs, Access Wellbeing Hubs, Interface Meetings and Steps 2 Wellbeing services. Supporting clients to attend appointments and advocating on their behalf with partner agencies. Providing outreach support and attending multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated care. Offering low-level emotional wellbeing support, including support around anxiety, depression and neurodiversity. Supporting clients to engage with external mental health services and improve access to appropriate care pathways. Focusing on engaging individuals with mental health needs into the treatment system and reducing barriers to support. You will have a UK Driving License and access to a vehicle. Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances. We welcome applications from those with lived experience. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with an inspiring and engaging approach.
