Main duties of the job What you'll be doing:
In liaison with the Therapy Lead, be responsible for the delivery of Occupational Therapy services to all Residents and clients.provide leadership in all aspects of Occupational Therapy in accordance with the Codes of Practice of the College of Occupational Therapy.provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents physical and psychological needs.maintain concise records and provide reports as necessary for each residents case review.undertake assessments of daily living skills to identify level of functional ability, risks and level of support needed.To liaise with appropriate outside organisations for equipment provision e.g. wheelchair services and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all Occupational Therapy equipment.Promote personal and social skills and leisure activities for all residents and liaise with relatives and carers with empathy giving information, support and advice whenever and as often as required.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Your Skills and Expertise: Were looking for : A qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration. Two years experience working as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience working within a neuro environment . Commitment to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Have excellent communications skills, a great attitude to teamwork and a desire to lead on resident care. Flexible to work shifts.
