Hywel Dda University Health Board are looking for a Clinical Lead Dietitian to join the Community dietetic service. Do you have a passion for value-based community health care, an interest in working as part of the community dietetic service with a strong focus on leading the service to deliver efficient, effective and excellent care? The role involves close collaborative working with clinical lead community dietitians to ensure cohesive aligned community service across the health board involving quality improvement projects, audit and research.
The successful applicant will become an integral member of the dietetic team working to ensure optimal nutritional care for patients as a key determinant of recovery and outcome. Main duties of the job
Deliver expert level community dietetics; managing a highly complex caseload, informing multi-disciplinary care and providing expert support, advice and clinical supervision for dietitians and other healthcare professionals, Health Board wide. Clinically lead on designated specialist areas of community Nutrition and Dietetics Health Board wide. Operationally team lead, and line manage a community dietetic team; including registered and unregistered team members. Work as an integral member of multi-professional community clinical leadership teams; driving excellent nutritional care through evidence-based practice. Act as an expert in community Nutrition and Dietetics; informing and taking a delegated lead on nutrition policy development, training and education, quality improvement and aligning services to National, Health Board and Professional strategy and guidance The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

HCPC registration with a degree in Dietetics Expert clinical knowledge of community nutritional care and dietetics, including home enteral feeding, qualifications acquired through specialist training or equivalent clinical experience to Master's level or equivalent Completed the clinical supervisory course Knowledge of, and ability to apply evidence-based methodology to support improvement, and service delivery Expert knowledge of clinical guidance and policy relevant to the specialist area
