Healthcare Assistant - End of Life Urgent Care Service (EOLUCS)
Salary: £23,044.16 Per Annum (£25,048 Full-Time Equivalent)
Hours: Part-Time 34.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-motivated individual who is interested in end-of-life care.
St Luke's is delivering on its vision of a Hospice without Walls with the support of its End-of-Life Urgent Care Team, as a Healthcare Assistant for the End-of-Life Urgent Care Service you will assist in supporting community-based end of life (EOL) patients in meeting their preferred place of care/death and prevent inappropriate admission to secondary care.
Whilst this role can be busy and challenging, there is great reward in helping make a real difference at the end of a persons life by caring for them in their own homes and preferred place of care/death.
