Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to appoint an efficient and motivated Administrator within (Adult) Community Mental Health Team.
Your main responsibility will be to provide quality administrative services to the West (Adult) Community Mental Health Team including answering the phone to vulnerable Service Users, working efficiently with current systems and processes and ensuring security and accessibility of relevant information and documentation and to help underpin the smooth running of the office.
With a positive approach to customer care you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, IT, administration and secretarial skills. Together with strong communication skills you will also have excellent attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will be approachable and welcoming to clients in all settings. You will work under the direction of the Business Administration Manager, but will be capable of using your own initiative. You will be required to adopt a flexible approach and must enjoy working as part of a skill mixed team.

Main duties of the job To provide a comprehensive administration service to the clinical team and/or service. The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions, as deemed appropriate by the Business Support Manager/Administration Manager.

Qualifications Essential
RSA II or equivalent in typing/word processing GSCE in English and Maths To be competent in a range of computer software
