Main duties of the job Your main responsibility as a Senior Care Assistant will be to work together with the Care team to ensure that high standards of personal care are delivered. This position involves creating a safe, nurturing, and innovative environment for residents, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will be monitoring each resident's wellbeing, being aware of any changes in their condition and ensuring their care plans are updated as needed. You are expected to be actively involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing and monitoring care plans and conducting monthly evaluations. As part of the team, youll assist residents with their medication needs and you may also be responsible for supervising and supporting other staff in their development when necessary. You will serve as a key point of contact for residents, their families, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring all reasonable requests are addressed, and any concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.

Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our ideal candidatemust:
Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes. Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment. Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff. Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Qualifications Essential
Our ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and at least 2 years experience in a similar care environment. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff. The role requires responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities. Living by values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all tasks is essential.
