Are you our Specialist Services reporting hero? Could you help us provide great friendly patient service and administration support in the collation of patient audit data and the chasing of patient tests results? Are you looking for an exciting challenge working as part of a busy team?
If so, you could start off your career supporting the Diabetes, Endocrinology, Clinical Investigation Unit & Podiatry department.
This exciting post will allow the successful candidate to gain experience and knowledge in a wide range of specialties. The post holder will collate and upload Specialist Services Quality audit data for both Diabetes and Endocrinology and also working with the Clinical Investigation Unit, chase patients test results, and the review of these to ensure patients are not waiting unnecessarily following tests., as well as administration tasks which will include dealing with telephone enquiries, and general office duties, in order to ensure our clinics, run smoothly,
The post holder will be expected to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to:
provide high quality support to the department.
support Diabetes, Endocrinology and Podiatry.
have accurate data entry skills, excellent communication skills and will need confidence when dealing with service users over the telephone and face-to-face.
handle patient information on a daily basis, so you will be expected to have a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
be able to prioritise your workload and work on the departmental database systems.
Being a good team player is a must, and you will uphold the Trust's PRIDE values.

Job description Job responsibilities
Undertake data collation and entry in a timely manner and be able to prioritise workload with the support from the Admin manager
Communicate electronically with across the Service regarding actions to be outcomed to ensure 18week targets are met.
Update RTT in accordance with Trust guidelines. Assist the Administration and Clerical team with data management utilising PAS and other departmental patient databases.
Work in line with department guidelines and policies and offer suggestions for improvements to procedures/policies to support the continual development of the service.
Maintain Administration Procedures for departmental practices, to ensure colleagues can cover workload in absence and offer suggestion at regular team meeting for improvements in working practices.
