Main duties of the job As a Kitchen Assistant at Barchester care home in Norwich, you will be instrumental in providing first-class food and hospitality, supporting the all-round care and wellbeing of our residents. This part-time role requires a commitment of 2 shifts per week, with working hours from 9 am to 6 pm. Our Kitchen Assistants are pivotal in creating healthy and nutritious meals, which are essential to enhancing the day-to-day experiences of our residents. You will work closely with your colleagues to produce fulfilling dining experiences and will also have the opportunity to build relationships with residents, further enhancing their hospitality experience. While no formal qualifications are required, experience in a similar role within a care or commercial setting is advantageous.
