Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE This is bank 0hrs contract. This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. ABOUT YOU You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
Main duties of the job As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for looking after the various needs of our residents to help us deliver quality, person-centred care and support. The role will require you to supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager. Flexibility in hours and days is needed, as this is a bank position designed to cover for times when additional staff is required, such as during annual leave or sick leave.
