Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE This is bank 0hrs contract. This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. ABOUT YOU You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
Main duties of the job As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for looking after the various needs of our residents to help us deliver quality, person-centred care and support. The role will require you to supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager. Additionally, you are expected to assist the clinical team in certain areas like medication management, assessments, care planning, or care reviews. Flexibility in hours and days is needed, as this is a bank position designed to cover for times when additional staff is required, such as during annual leave or sick leave.
