Main duties of the job As a Catering Assistant at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting catering staff with the preparation and cooking of meals, serving service users, maintaining storage procedures, ensuring cleanliness, and liaising with dietitians. This role offers the opportunity to work in a calm environment within Cotswold Spa, a healthcare service for individuals with eating disorders located in Worcestershire, while also providing scope for career development and interaction with a close-knit, dedicated kitchen team. You will work 37.5 hours a week under the guidance of the Head Chef and have access to a range of training courses to advance your career.

As a Catering Assistant you will be:
Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages. Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation. Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly. As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures. Liaising with the wider team, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable) Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP Experience of working within similar role. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Where you will be working:

Cotswold Spa Hospital is a specialist eating disorder service located in Broadway, Worcestershire for young people aged between 13+ which offers both inpatient and day patient treatment programmes.
It is situated in the picturesque village of Broadway, Worcestershire, close to the Cotswold Way.

Bulimia Nervosa Anorexia Nervosa Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder The units have been specifically designed with the adolescent and young adult in mind. The interior design of the hospital is both contemporary and comfortable incorporating young people’s art.
