Main duties of the job As a Field Care Supervisor at Agincare, you will be a key point of contact for providing day-to-day support, guidance, and information to both clients and staff. Your role involves monitoring and checking the health and well-being of clients and staff through face-to-face visits, phone calls, and reviewing care records. You will conduct assessments and reassessments of care needs, manage risks, and ensure care plans are person-centred. Safeguarding clients against abuse and ensuring staff receive adequate training and support to deliver safe care are crucial responsibilities. Regular supervisions, reviews with team members to assess competency, and promoting personal development are integral parts of the role. The position requires some on-call responsibilities and may involve weekend work. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be a main point of contact for day-to-day support, guidance and information to allocated clients and staff.You will be responsible for monitoring and checking the health, well-being of clients and staff by using face to face visits, telephone calls and monitoring care records.
You will undertake assessments, and re-assessments of care needs and risk manage clients to ensure that their care plans reflect their needs and are person-centred.
You will ensure that arrangements are in place to safeguard clients against the risk of abuse, and ensure that staff receive appropriate training and support to deliver care safely and feel confident to highlight any potential issues.
You will conduct regular supervisions and reviews with team members to review competency and promote personal development.
The role will include some responsibility for on-call and may involve working some weekends.
