We are looking for a warm, organised and people-focused Practice Operations & People Manager to support the smooth running of our GP practice.
This middle-management role combines HR support, day-to-day practice operations and high-level administrative support, working closely with the COO, GP partners and practice teams.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, appraisals, sickness absence and staff wellbeing Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and partners Support the smooth running of practice and office operations Help coordinate rotas, leave and administrative workflows Maintain HR policies, procedures and governance documentation in line with NHS and CQC requirements Provide confidential administrative and organisational support to the COO and GP partners Support meetings, correspondence and practice projects Support with absences and payroll matters and submissions.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Strong organisational and communication skills Professional, approachable and able to manage confidential matters Problem-solving. Ability to manage change. Team player
Desirable
Experience in primary care or the NHS Experience of using EMIS would be beneficial
Qualifications Essential
Experience in HR, healthcare administration, practice management or a similar role
Desirable
CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
