Job summary We are looking for an organised, proactive, and motivated Personal Assistant to join the Business Support Team within Medicines Management & Pharmacy Services (MMPS) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and varied environment where strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently are essential. The post holder will be accountable for providing support to members of the senior leadership team.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support, including diary management, meeting coordination, agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking, and maintaining effective office and information systems. You will also support a range of ad hoc administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Business Support Team. The postholder will also be responsible for line management of the secretaries within the team.

Qualifications Essential
Qualified to RSA3 typing/word processing or equivalent Excellent typing skills GCSE (or equivalent) English Language grade C or above A willingness to undergo training and new skills
Desirable
Shorthand/Audio European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) A willingness to attend managerial/supervisory courses, e.g. instruction on interview procedures, managing yourself and others
