Main duties of the job We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team at Avery Healthcare. The role involves providing high standards of care, acting as person in charge during shifts, and standing in for the Manager as needed. Responsibilities include distribution of medication, managing chronic medical conditions, advising families and GPs of any concerns, and ensuring effective deployment and supervision of staff. Candidates must embody values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all duties. Ideal candidates will hold a First Level qualification, current NMC Registration, and have a minimum of two years' experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Qualifications Essential
