Are you ready to play a pivotal role at the heart of medical workforce excellence? We're looking for a committed, organised, and motivated Medical Staffing Manager to join our Medical Staffing and Education Department.
You'll work collaboratively with a wide range of internal teams and external partners to ensure that our doctors receive the highest quality support, development, and governance throughout their careers. The role will have responsibility for two members of staff and will work closely will all levels of medical colleagues.

Main duties of the job
This post works within the Medical Staffing and Education Department. This team works closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to oversee the high quality education and training all levels of medic; recruitment, induction and development of Consultants and SAS Doctors; monitoring and supporting revalidation, appraisal and job planning; providing expert advice on terms and conditions and coordinate medical developments to build and support the leadership journey from medical student to consultant psychiatrist.
This post will be responsible providing a high quality medical staffing service to Consultants and SAS Doctors ensuring the Trust meets its statutory and NHSE requirements in relation to medical staffing issues. The post will work closely with the Head of Medical Workforce and Medical Education Manager.
To develop and maintain multiple information systems to support the recruitment, management and administration of doctors in the Trust; this will involve a range of systems including but not limited to Excel spreadsheets, ESR, TempRE, E-Roster, Trac and e-job plan and e-appraisal platforms.
