About this role
Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Knowledge & Evidence Manager to join our dynamic library and information service, supporting the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board, along with the public health teams at Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council.
In this pivotal role, you will lead on evidence searching, including the design and delivery of high-quality literature searches, critical screening, and clear presentation of findings. You will also create tailored guidance materials and deliver information skills training to staff across our partner organisations.
We are looking for a qualified librarian with strong experience in database searching and training delivery. While a health background is beneficial, it is not essential -- we will provide full training and ongoing professional development.
Success in this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence with digital tools, and the ability to work independently while managing a varied workload effectively.
You will join a supportive, collaborative team of professional librarians and paraprofessional colleagues who will provide mentorship, shared expertise, and a welcoming environment for your continued growth.
If you are passionate about evidence-informed decision-making and eager to apply your professional expertise in a role that directly supports public health and integrated care, we would be delighted to hear from you.

About us

We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as 'outstanding' for care and our King's Mill Hospital as the only 'outstanding' NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
