Job summary
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for providing a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties, including PA support to Practice Partners and GPs, and administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team. This includes the timely processing of clinical information (both electronic and hard copy) and liaising with internal and external services such as secondary care and community providers using the Electronic Referral Service (ERS).

Typing clinical letters, reports and associated documentationProcessing referrals efficiently via ERSLiaising with hospitals, community services and other agenciesManaging enquiries in an effective and professional mannerMaintaining accurate referrals and patient recordsScanning and attaching documents to patient healthcare recordsInputting data and read coding on SystmOneProcessing SARs, insurance reports, solicitors letters and DVLA formsAnswering incoming phone calls and handling requests appropriatelySupporting clinicians and Practice Partners with administrative and PA dutiesProducing meeting agendas and minutes when requiredSupporting reception and providing cover when neededParticipating in audits and practice searches as requestedMaintaining a clean and organised working area
