About this role
NeoWork is hiring an Executive Assistant to support a founder operating across two active businesses. This is a high-trust, high-context role built for someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and does not need hand-holding to figure out what needs to get done.
The principal operates across multiple time zones, switches context frequently, and relies on this person to manage the flow of information and tasks without being asked twice. The role blends professional and personal support equally. No task should feel beneath you.
This position is Colombia-based by design. The principal is actively building in Medellin and values proximity for in-person coordination when needed. Comfort with the local context is a genuine asset.
What You Will Do
Task and Priority Management
Own the principal's task queue and proactively surface what needs attention without promptingTranslate loosely communicated priorities into clear, actionable itemsTrack open loops, follow up on delegated tasks, and close the feedback loopMonitor Slack, WhatsApp, and Notion to triage requests and flag time-sensitive itemsScheduling and Logistics
Manage calendars across personal and professional contextsCoordinate flights, accommodations, and travel logistics end to endBook reservations and handle personal scheduling as neededAnticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them before they escalateFinancial and Administrative Support
Review credit card statements and categorize expenses accuratelyReconcile charges and flag irregularities for reviewMaintain clean financial records and support ad hoc administrative tasksPrepare summaries and reports as neededRequirements
The core requirement for this role is proactive accountability. You must be able to extract priorities from a busy principal with minimal direction, anticipate needs before they are voiced, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. If you wait to be told what to do, this role is not a fit.
Required
2 or more years supporting an executive, founder, or senior operator in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and spoken English; all primary communication is in EnglishProficiency with Slack, Notion, and WhatsApp as daily work toolsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and shifting timelines without losing track of detailsComfort handling personal logistics alongside professional responsibilitiesBased in Colombia with the ability to meet in person in Medellin as neededPreferred
