About this role

Rockstar is recruiting for an edtech/govtech startup that is building the first common application system for PK-12, focused on increasing access to high quality education. This Nobel Prize-winning, venture-backed, seed-stage company works with cities, school districts, and nonprofits to set up one-stop-shop enrollment hubs for families to find, navigate, and register for educational and social programs. The team includes 25 humans, founded by a Nobel Laureate, a Clark Medalist, and a Social Entrepreneur.

Work with the Go to Market team to grow the business in the charter sector. The role will be responsible for generating demand and building pipeline, including through direct outreach, field events, and marketing support, as well owning deals and working them through close.

Candidates must live within 1 hour of hubs in San Francisco or Boston.

(If you have experience at the district or municipal level, separate roles are available for those sectors. And there are also roles available for experienced sales professionals as well - visit avela.org/careers to find those openings.)
