Your tasks: You prepare ingredients independently You apply basic cooking techniques You contribute to the composition and modification of menus, menu items and methods You are responsible for inventory and order management You provide technical guidance to assistant kitchen staff You report to a supervisor with culinary expertise Your work conditions: Temporary contract (12 months) under Dutch hospitality collective labor agreement (CAO) Full-time : 38 hrs/week Start date: as soon as possible Competitive salary: 2900€ gross/month 2 days off per week + 20 days holiday per year Ambitous kitchen team opportunities for training and advancement Your qualifications You have completed a vocational training in cooking (professional secondary education diploma) You have a first relevant and recent experience as a cook You have a good knowledge of basic cooking techniques You have a good knoweldge of products/ingredients You have a positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members A previous experience in a Chinese kitchen is a big plus, but what truly matters is your drive to learn, your curiosity and your passion for exploring a new culinary tradition Your language skills You are fluent in English (min. B1 level).
