Job SummaryAbout the Position : This position is located at Dunham Army Health Clinic in Carlisle Barracks. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes installing, maintaining, and/or repairing medical equipment and/or systems; operating test, measurement, and/or diagnostic equipment to test and/or calibrate medical equipment and/or systems; and conducting preventative maintenance checks on medical equipment and/or systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Major DutiesConduct preventive maintenance checks and services, including visual inspections, calibration, and performance tests.Install complex medical and peripheral devices.Operate a wide variety of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment.Troubleshoot network and application server hardware, operating system software, and peripheral network equipment.Conduct training of methods of operation for testing and calibrating medical systems.Operate Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).Ensure equipment is compliance with manufacturer’s or regulatory guidance.
