About this role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Accountant I to join our accounting team. The Accountant I will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Reporting to the Production Company Accounting Manager, you will assist in financial analysis, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly, including leasing accounts and various accrualsPrepare and ensure accuracy in general ledger entriesPerform system tasks to assist month-end closingAnalyze and input leasing data from external providers into lease accounting toolConduct financial analysis to support management and external reportingAssist in preparation of reporting to the US Bureau of Economic AnalysisBudget various balance sheet valuesProvide accounting support to HQ Controlling teamAssist with other special projects as needed, including PowerBI reporting.
BASIC:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldStrong understanding of accounting principlesStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsHigh level of integrity and ethicsWilling to work mid‑shift or night‑shift schedules, depending on business needs.Hybrid work setup.PREFERRED:
