IMDEA Nanociencia is looking for experienced candidates to reinforce the Competitive Projects Office (CPO) at the Institute. This is a chance to join a vibrant and dynamic team dedicated to overseeing the management of our portfolio of international projects. The office deals with the full life-cycle of projects from planning and writing through to their negotiation, execution and management. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in European framework programmes in different knowledge areas. The candidate will focus on the management of the project NeuroNanotech (Nanoplatforms for Neuroscience) supported by Horizon Europe’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks. PRINICIPAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS • Assist in the coordination of International NeuroNanotech consortium in close cooperation in cooperation with the management team • Assist in the implementation of the NeuroNanotech project and monitoring the work plan. • Support in organisation of the international NeuroNanotech consortium meetings. • Assist in the technical and financial reporting. REQUIREMENTS - COMPULSORY • Bachelor or Master Degree. • A strong oral and written command of the English language (B2 equivalent). - VALUED • Experience with project administration or management. • Postgraduate degree in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering or related discipline is favourable. • Knowledge of European funding structure. • Communications skills (both oral and written). • Planning and negotiation skills.
