The children, staff and governors of Nether Green Infant School are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to become part of our wonderful and inclusive school.
The successful candidate will join a strong and supportive team and contribute to the school’s calm, nurturing, and positive approach. The post holder will work alongside the class teacher in a class of up to 30 pupils in Reception or KS1, supporting the teaching and learning of all children.

You must:
Must have a minimum Level 3 qualification for Early Years or KS1 or equivalentHave experience of working with children with SENDHave experience of supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism and Speech and Language difficultiesHave a good understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and have experience of working with children in this age groupUnderstand how the fundamental skills of reading, writing and Maths develop within EYFS and KS1Value the contribution of play to young children’s learning and developmentBe flexible and willing to adapt in order to meet the individual needs of the children and achieve the best outcomesBe willing to work closely with other professionals and implement advice and strategies to support individual childrenHave excellent communication skills, both written and verbalEnjoy working with young childrenBe able to work effectively as part of a team or use your own initiative when requiredBe able to develop positive working relationships with children, parents and staffBe committed, enthusiastic and willing to undertake further training and professional development
