Being a Staff Software Engineer at Tobii, you will:
Design and develop embedded software libraries and demo applications
Collaborate with ML researchers to optimize architecture and implementation
Work with Product Management to define and build proof-of-concept applications
Support customers in integrating our solutions into their vehicles and test benches
Travel as needed to support customer projects and demos
To succeed in this role, we would love you to have:
Proficiency in developing embedded applications in C and C++
Experience with automotive embedded platforms and debugging
Familiarity with platform-specific optimizations (ARM Neon, DSP, GPU, NPU)
Experience integrating SDKs into embedded systems
Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Field Application Engineer)
Willingness to travel based on project needs
It’s a plus if you have:
Experience with camera/imaging sensor integration
Familiarity with ML-based applications on embedded devices
