About this role

Are you motivated by helping young people shape their futures and make confident, aspirational and well-informed choices about work, apprenticeships, or continued education? If so, this role within our Professional Services team could be just for you.

We are seeking to recruit a Manager for Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to work alongside our pastoral leaders and colleagues and across all age groups (11-18). We have 400 learners in our thriving Sixth Form.

The successful candidate will support and deliver effective careers guidance, and careers education and information for pupils and students. Building on an already established model, you will develop and enhance the School’s careers programme having regard for the delivery of the updated Gatsby benchmarks. This will entail designing, selecting and providing curriculum resources, activities and services to meet pupils’ and students’ career needs, as a part of the School’s Learning for Life programme. You will lead on a range of projects which assist and support pupils and students into employment or further and higher education, and act to raise aspiration.

To support fully the aspects of the role delivering one-to-one guidance, candidates are expected to hold or be working towards the Level6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. The School can facilitate this CPD and will discuss this training with prospective candidates where needed.
