The role of Early Years ASD Specialist Base Teacher is a very exciting opportunity to be part of our provision for children with social and communication difficulties. Little Hillbrook is part of our school site, close to our Early Years base and part of our whole school community with close links to our Early year’s team.
You will need: -
To have experience of working with children with SEN in a primary settingTo have relevant experience of the Foundation Stage and experience of working with children with either ASD, significant communication difficulties or developmental delay in the acquisition of social skillsTo be able to communicate effectively with a range of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children and their familiesTo be able to show initiative and adapt to challenges when necessaryTo have vision and the skills necessary to develop your leadership in Little Hillbrook alongside the Little Hillbrook base managerTo be a flexible team player who has the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire othersTo be an excellent communicator and team player who can form positive and meaningful relationships with staff, children, governors, parents and the wider community
