We are looking for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND.
You will ideally have:
Experience supporting children or young people with autism and associated needsExperience supporting vulnerable or at-risk pupilsStrong behaviour management skills using relational approachesThe ability to lead and support a class confidentlyA child-centred and nurturing approach to learningStrong communication and teamwork skillsGood organisation and time managementGCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) across a range of subjectsA reflective and solution-focused approachCreativity, flexibility and a willingness to adapt learning to meet individual needsWe’d also love to hear from candidates who have:
A Level 3 or SEND-related qualificationExperience supporting KS3/4 students working below age-related expectationsExperience developing community links or partnership workingExperience supporting intimate careA commitment to continued professional development
