Join CEE as a clinical tutor and help shape the next generation of Optometrists.

About the role

Ensure safe clinical supervision of third year undergraduates Assess the competence of third year undergraduate students against the criteria outlined for the GOC Outcomes for Registration Provide undergraduate optometry students with feedback on their clinical performance following a completed patient episode Promote high standards and academic quality in clinical optometry learning and teaching Provide high-quality care to patients Attend at least one clinical tutor training day per academic year

Due to the nature of this role, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check will be required.

You will:

Be a qualified Dispensing Optician Have Professional Indemnity Insurance Have excellent communication skills Be supportive, organised, and collaborative approach to clinical education

You must currently be registered with the following registration board: General Optical Council (GOC)
