We are now seeking an exceptional Head of IT Product Development & Delivery (ITPDD) to join our Technology and Information Services (TIS) Senior Leadership Team.
About the Role
As a senior leader within TIS, you will drive the delivery of robust, high-quality digital services that support staff, students, and partners across the University. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our digital ecosystem—ensuring seamless, end-to-end user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and technical leadership across:
Infrastructure Services Solution Design Technical Design Authority Continuous DevOps
Champion modern software practices, using ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies Drive continuous improvement in digital capability and service delivery Ensure structured, efficient processes across IT services Collaborate across the University to align IT services with evolving business needs Bring sector and industry insight to enhance innovation and strategic delivery
About You
Extensive experience across the full IT lifecycle within a medium-sized organisation Strong understanding of business systems, operational processes, and information-led environments Expertise in contemporary software development practices and trends Proven leadership experience managing technical teams Professional knowledge and practical experience in ITIL v3, PRINCE2, and/or Agile Relevant IT qualification
Working Arrangements
Hybrid role with minimum 2 days per week on-site Flexibility required to meet business needs
