Main duties of the job The Operational Trainer position at Barchester Healthcare involves providing induction and development training to staff across approximately six homes and/or hospitals in a specific region. As an Operational Trainer, you will be a vital initial point of contact between Barchester and new staff, ensuring they are confident and competent in delivering person-centered and compassionate care. The role includes coordinating and delivering training sessions, planning training calendars, and maintaining up-to-date employee training files. Additionally, you will be involved in arranging induction paperwork, coaching new team members, and promoting Barchester's learning and development opportunities. This role requires a passion for training and development, a City & Guilds 7300 or equivalent, a Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or relevant experience, and a commitment to supporting Barchester's ethos of delivering quality care.
