Lawson Road Surgery in Norwich are ahigh performing GP surgery currently seeking immediate support following the sudden absence of our Practice Manager due to serious illness.
Main duties of the job
An experienced Practice Manager to provide interim operational leadership and business management
Support with day-to-day practice financial management Availability at short notice is highly desirable, ideally for 1 or 2 days a week
Ideally on site but remote/hybrid working considered Short term contract at present

Our list is size is 8,700, which continues to grow with new developments locally. We are a teaching practice and work closely with UEA supporting years 2, 3, 4 and 5. We are a research active practice. We have a CQC rating of Good.

Experience Essential
Previous Practice Manager experience Detailed and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, as well as experience in managing a diverse workforce Prior experience of leadership and personnel management, within a healthcare setting Experience in financial management Ability to deliver a vision, with a willingness and the drive to adapt to NHS targets and business planning, whilst keeping abreast of legislative and contractual changes Self-motivated, with a forward-thinking, solution-focused approach; The ability to develop, implement and embed policies, procedures and guidelines; Experience of working in an ever-evolving environment, with an ability to cope with regular change; Excellent organisational, management and planning skills, IT skills and communication skills
