Job summary
Clinical administration is a key function in the management and day to day functionality of community nursing teams and the patients they care for. The purpose of this role is to work with and support the Community Nursing team with their clinical administration functions associated with the management of patients.
Main duties of the job
Accepting incoming tasks and referrals to the team, setting appropriate care plans. Using the auto planner functionality within SystmOne to allocate the following days visits. Supporting the duty sister to review allocated visits and supporting any changes required to the visit lists. Supporting with the replenishment and ordering of stock and equipment for the team.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of training and understanding of clinical organisation gained through individual training and experience
