On the first of February 2021 the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals became part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust- a truly once in a generation development.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced radiographer to join our friendly skilled radiology team at Royal Brompton Hospital, specialist centre for the treatment of heart and lung disease.
The department has just installed a Siemens Photon Counting CT in collabortion with Kings College London. In January 2022 we opened a new diagnostic imaging centre with state-of-the-art facilities including an additional CT scanner (Siemens Force), a dedicated interventional radiology lab (Phillips Azurion 7) and a Siemens fluoroscopy & DR room. The department is spread over three buildings and includes; 3 Siemens CT scanners, 6 cardiac catheter labs, including a hybrid theatre/cath lab, 2 general DR x-ray rooms and GE/Samsung DR mobiles.
You will be part of a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
The post is fixed-term maternity cover and as such will require working primarily in general X-Ray, and fluoroscopy. There may however be the opportunity for limited CT or cath-lab working, depending on the existing skills of the successful applicant.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
HCPC Radiographers Board Registration BSC in Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers or equivalent
Desirable
CT and/or Cath lab experience
Experience Essential
Minimum 1 year post qualification experience

Skills and abilities Essential
High level of IT skills
