Job summary
Due to sickness leave the practice is looking for a GP to cover 6 Sessions per week for 3 months. The sessions are Wednesday all day on call, Thursday triaged, booked appointments. Friday triaged, booked appointments.
The successful candidate will benefit from support from our Advanced Nurse Practitioner who undertakes the Home Visits, Minor Illness Nurses, Practice Nurses, HCSW and also Reception and Admin Support.
Main duties of the job
Wednesday will be the On-call session
Thursday triage or booked appointments
Friday triage or booked appointments
Pathology Links and signing prescriptions will be included and the practice's go-live date for EPS is the 18th June 2026.

Strawberry Place Surgery is a purpose built practice situated in Morriston. We are a friendly team of Partners, Salaried GP's, ANP, Practice Nurses, Minor Illness Nurses, HCSW, Reception, Admin staff.
The practice forms part of Cwmtawe Cluster and benefits from all the successful NHS Award Winning projects being delivered by the Cluster. Strawberry Place Surgery accommodates the NHS Award Winning Cwmtawe Mental Health Hub, which is accessible by the Cluster practices.
